ABOUT DAPPLEBROOK SOCKS
Dapplebrook Socks mostly revolves around Paul (he is the one on the right). Paul has a long heritage of sock making - he is a 3rd generation sock maker, his Grandfather and Father have both been involved in sock making all their lives, and Paul followed in the family tradition. After gaining his BSc Textiles & Hosiery qualifications at De Montfort University he worked his way through several prestigious Companies in many senior technical based roles, including Porvair, Pantherella and HJ Socks.
In 2017, with the full support of his wife and family he started Dapplebrook Ltd and gained an investor with a factory owner that he had known for many years. They also developed their own brand called Norfolk Socks and set up a website initially specialising in technical socks for improved foot care - focusing on the needs of Diabetics to start with.
This business has continued to grow, and recently through working with Anton Jenkins, a colleague and friend from their time at HJ Socks, the Norfolk brand is being seen in High Street stores all around the England, Scotland, Ireland and Europe. Dapplebrook Socks, the contract own label side of the business has also continued to thrive with private label contracts being gained with prestigious names and brands that for confidentiality reasons we can not share here. Paul's passion for creating technically great socks and the combined team enthusiasm to succeed means that they are socks designers and a socks manufacturer for all markets including Care, Sports, Outdoor, Fashion and Sustainability is greater than ever, as technology and yarns become available they are even more excited about what can be done to give consumers better socks.
